This poster relates to the Lada Samara’s rally and prototype-sporting image of the late 1980s. The Samara was AvtoVAZ’s first front-wheel-drive production model and was developed as a more modern Soviet car with strong export ambitions. Alongside the road car, a far more radical competition programme was created, including the Samara EVA developed in Vilnius for international rallying under the Group B and later Group S prototype era.
