Created in the 1930s, the poster was part of Germany\u2019s tourism promotion and presents Freiburg as <em data-start=\"280\" data-end=\"330\">\u201cDie Stadt des Waldes, des Weines und der Gotik\u201d<\/em> (\u201cthe city of forests, wine, and Gothic architecture\u201d). It prominently features the Freiburg Minster, the historic old town, vineyards symbolizing the region\u2019s wine culture, and the Schauinsland cable car, which had opened in 1930 and quickly became a modern landmark.
