Title: Håkan Rehnberg – “Moira” en målning i 29 delar

Publisher / Issuer: Malmö Konsthall

Year of Issue: 1990

Artist / Designer: Håkan Rehnberg (born 1953); exhibition poster design by Malmö Konsthall

Description:

This exhibition poster was produced by Malmö Konsthall to accompany “Moira”, a monumental 29-part painting installation by Swedish contemporary artist Håkan Rehnberg, exhibited from 15 December 1990 to 27 January 1991.

The poster reproduces one of the large-scale abstract works from the series — an image dominated by layered fields of yellow and grey. Rehnberg’s paintings are known for their meditative surfaces and exploration of material temporality, where paint becomes a record of gesture and time. The title “Moira,” drawn from Greek mythology (the Fates), alludes to destiny and the passage of moments — central themes in Rehnberg’s artistic philosophy.
