This 1988 poster was issued by Eesti Lastefond during the late Soviet-era national awakening in Estonia. Its slogan comes from Hando Runnel, whose line had become one of the best-known poetic expressions linking children, continuity and the survival of the nation. In that context, the poster conveyed both a family-centred and national idea: the future of Estonia depended on new generations, cultural continuity and demographic hope.
