This poster was produced for an exhibition on Alvar Aalto at Arkitekturmuseet in Stockholm, held from 28 November 1998 to 21 February 1999. The exhibition focused on seven of Aalto’s buildings and presented the work of one of the central figures of 20th-century Finnish architecture and design. Aalto is widely regarded as a pioneer of modern architecture whose work combined functionalism with a more human-centred and organic approach.
