This poster was issued by the Estonian Defence Forces and is connected with the artillery arm. The unit insignia shown on the poster refers to the historical 1st Artillery Group, the predecessor of today’s Estonian artillery regiment. Estonia’s artillery tradition dates back to 1918, and the artillery unit was re-established in the restored Estonian Defence Forces in 1998.
