Description:

Soviet release poster for the musical comedy “Улыбнись, ровесник!”, a USSR–GDR co-production between Mosfilm and DEFA. The film was directed by Yuliy Kun and made during a period when Soviet studios often collaborated with Eastern Bloc film companies on youth-oriented musical films. The cast included Natalya Maslova, Klara Luchko, Leonid Prigunov and Dean Reed, the American singer and actor who became especially popular in the Soviet Union and East Germany.
