This is an Estonian release poster for the Soviet science-fiction film Võluri röövimine, the local title of Похищение чародея. The film was produced by Sverdlovsk Film Studio and released in 1989, directed by Viktor Kobzev and based on Kir Bulychev’s work of the same name. It belongs to the late Soviet wave of science-fiction cinema, when fantasy and speculative themes were increasingly adapted for screen during the final years of the USSR.
