Description
This poster was produced in 1958 as a public-information campaign in the Estonian SSR to regulate fishing of young sprats and Baltic herrings: “Fishermen! Do not catch sprats under 10 cm, Baltic herring under 8 cm.” The design combines utilitarian messaging with a striking visual: a fishing vessel hauling its net, emphasising the theme of resource protection and sustainable fishing.
