Baltaragio Malūnas (“Baltaragis’ Mill”), written in 1945 by Lithuanian author Kazys Boruta, is a folkloric tale about a miller who makes a fateful pact with the devil, blending myth, love, and moral struggle. The poster promotes composer Vladimir Ganelin’s musical adaptation in Soviet Lithuania, pairing Boruta’s legendary story with avant-garde sounds and striking surrealist artwork.
