This vibrant promotional poster was issued in 2012 to celebrate the release of ¡Uno!, the first album in Green Day’s ambitious trilogy (¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré!). Produced by Reprise Records, the poster mirrors the band’s return to energetic, punk-driven roots after their conceptual albums of the 2000s.
The design features frontman Billie Joe Armstrong in high-contrast black and white, overlaid with bright magenta X’s across his eyes — a visual that became the defining image of the ¡Uno! campaign. Set against a pulsating green background with bold type and distressed textures, the poster captures the band’s rebellious humor and explosive pop-punk aesthetic.
