This poster promotes Artipelag’s major 2016 spring–summer exhibition “The Legacy of Andy Warhol”, shown 15 April–25 September 2016 at Artipelag (Artipelagstigen 1, Gustavsberg/Värmdö in the Stockholm archipelago). The exhibition was explicitly framed as not a “standard Warhol show,” but as a broader look at Warhol’s influence and legacy beyond his artworks—how his thinking shaped modern lifestyle, media and commercial culture—with the curatorial approach anchored in Warhol’s own development and (per the press material) a reference to his autobiography From A to B and Back Again. Artipelag also built a public-program element around the theme by interviewing Swedish experts about Warhol’s impact, and the institution lists a full internal curator/production team for the show.
