This is a Swedish event poster for the speedway World Championship final (“VM final” = världsmästerskapsfinal) held at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg on 5 September 1980. That meeting was the 1980 Individual Speedway World Championship World Final, a major one-night title decider that drew an estimated ~35,000 spectators, and it’s remembered for Michael Lee (England) winning the world title, ahead of Dave Jessup and Billy Sanders.
